PCAQUA FALL: A Water-Slide Race for Up to 8 Players
Indie studio tatsumaki games launched a Steam store page on September 28 for the racing game AQUA FALL. Players race down water slides and vie for the top ranking as they dive into the finish pool. Players can move forward, backward, and side to side, as well as jump, and can collide with one another in online matches with up to 8 players. There’s also a mode for battling bots. In some sections, speeds reach 100 km/h, and daring shortcuts let players cross over course walls. Collected gems can be used to customize characters. The game supports English and is set to release in October.

PCShinjuku Anomaly: A Part-Time Job That’s Just Photographing Apparitions in Shinjuku at Night
AMATA Games’ short horror visual novel Shinjuku Anomaly launches on Steam at 9:00 PM Eastern Time on September 29. Players take on a part-time job that consists simply of photographing apparitions, choosing to “approach,” “photograph,” or “leave” whenever a distant figure appears in Shinjuku at night. The rule is to get close enough, but not too close. Getting too close puts the player in danger, and photographing an ordinary person by mistake should also be avoided. Running out of film sends the player home, and there are multiple endings. AMATA Games’ representative cites The Exit 8 and Junji Ito’s manga as influences. The game supports English. The ending theme, “Hyakkiyakou,” is a collaboration with the loud girls group 闇雲-yamikumo-.

PCEVERYONE’S TIER LIST!: A Party Game Where You Guess Your Friends’ Rankings
bookbook released a free demo on Steam on September 28 for EVERYONE’S TIER LIST!, a party game for up to 6 players. Given a prompt like “What would you put in curry?” one player arranges five words on an S-to-D tier list according to their own judgment. The other players have 180 seconds to guess that order, earning points for correct guesses. The game supports English, and the full version is set to release in November.

PCRe:Re:Re:Respawn: A 3D Puzzle-Action Game Where You Use Your Own Corpse as a Foothold or Shield
Studio非 and Re³ will release a free demo of the 3D puzzle-action game Re:Re:Re:Respawn to coincide with Steam Next Fest on October 20. Every time the protagonist dies, they can leave their own corpse behind. Players use that corpse as a foothold, a weight, or a shield to make their way through BOX, a massive structure filled with dangerous traps. The protagonist is played by Kuruma Takahira, a member of the Japanese comedy duo Reiwa Roman. The demo is expected to run about 15 to 20 minutes and supports English.

PCGiantess Naval Defense: A Naval Defense Game Where a Hairpin Cannon Fights Off Kaiju
Solo developer Pico Games launched a Steam store page on September 28 for its new game, Giantess Naval Defense. Players control Orca, a giant girl who is humanity’s only ally, using a naval gun mounted on her hairpin to repel waves of kaiju. In addition to naval defense, the game includes a phase in which players descend in a submarine to gather materials and power up, as well as a final-battle phase in which giant girls fight each other directly. The game supports English and is set to release in 2027.
