Your privacy is important to us. XOKURA (xokura.com) is built to collect as little personal information as possible: we do not require accounts, we do not sell personal information, and we run no tracking beyond the analytics described below. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Our principles

What we collect

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies and similar identifiers to measure traffic and how readers find our articles. Google's use of this data is described in Google's privacy documentation. You can opt out through your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Embedded posts from X. Some articles embed the original post from X (formerly Twitter). Loading an embed contacts X's servers, which can set their own cookies and see that you opened the article. We ask X not to personalise embeds, but we do not control what they collect — see X's privacy policy. Decline cookies and the embed is not loaded at all: you see a quote with a link to the post instead.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request metadata as part of serving and securing the site.
  • Email. If you write to us, we keep your address and message only as long as needed to handle your inquiry.

We do not ask for names, postal addresses, or payment details, and we do not try to identify individual readers.

Cookies

Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to distinguish visitors, and embedded X posts may set cookies from X, both as described above. Nothing else on the site sets tracking cookies. If display advertising is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before ads go live to describe the provider, the cookies involved, and your choices.

Readers in the EU, the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland are asked before any analytics cookie is set and before any embed is loaded — nothing is stored and no embed contacts X until you accept. Everywhere else, analytics is on by default and you can opt out with the links above. You can change your answer at any time: .

If an article contains affiliate links, it will carry a clear disclosure on the article itself. We currently run no affiliate programs.

Our articles link to official announcements, press releases, and publisher websites. Those sites are not operated by us and have their own privacy practices, which we neither control nor take responsibility for. A link is not an endorsement.
