Marvelous Inc. and Aiming Inc. announced that Ken to Mahou no Logres: Inishie no Megami will host a new collaboration event with That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, starting July 15 in Japan (July 14 in North America).

Collaboration details

The collaboration centers on a story quest featuring Rimuru and other characters from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Players who clear the first chapter of the story quest will receive a limited-time avatar item, the “Demon Lord Rimuru Outfit.”

The event will also bring back collaboration quests and collaboration-exclusive weapons that were originally featured in an earlier crossover held in 2021. According to Marvelous and Aiming, the schedule and content of the event may change.

A special site dedicated to the collaboration has been published, though the FactSheet does not describe it further beyond confirming its existence.

Background

Ken to Mahou no Logres: Inishie no Megami is a full remake native app for smartphones, built on the PC browser game Ken to Mahou no Logres, which was loved by many users. The mobile version supports iOS and Android and has surpassed 9 million downloads worldwide. It is available through the App Store, Google Play, and AndApp.

This is not the first time the game has partnered with That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime; a previous collaboration between the two took place in 2021, and elements from that event — including quests and exclusive weapons — are being revived as part of this new collaboration.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime follows an office worker named Mikami who is reincarnated as a slime in another world and, as Rimuru, gradually gathers allies and builds a community of monsters and humans.
