The original Persona 3, which forms the basis of Persona 3 Reload, reached its 20th anniversary on July 13, 2026 in Japan (July 12 in North America). To mark the occasion, ATLUS has released a new “20th anniversary illustration” drawn by original character designer Shigenori Soejima, along with a commemorative music video titled “‘Persona3’ 20th Anniversary Remix.”

The music video combines an arrangement of Persona 3 music by DJ VaVa with nostalgic pixel art visuals created by pixel artist Motocross Saito. Yuto Senda directed the video, and Lotus Juice recorded new vocals specifically for the piece.
Alongside the video, ATLUS also opened pre-orders today for a new lineup of official merchandise:
- “‘Persona3’ 20th Anniversary Remix T-Shirt” (white/black): M/L/XL sizes, ¥6,050 (about $40) each, tax included
- Lenticular keychain: ¥1,430 (about $10), tax included
- Clear magnets A/B/C/D: ¥990 (about $7) each, tax included
- Clear illustration card set: ¥2,420 (about $16), tax included
Separately, the Morgana_Persona Official PR Account (@p_kouhou) on X is running a giveaway campaign offering the white T-shirt in size L to three winners. The entry deadline is July 27 (Monday) at 23:59 JST, which falls on July 27 in Japan (July 26 in North America).
To celebrate the anniversary, Persona 3 Reload is also on sale on Nintendo eShop and PS Store. On PS Store, the sale runs from July 15 (Wednesday) in Japan (July 14 in North America) through July 29 (Wednesday) in Japan (July 28 in North America), with the price dropping from ¥7,678 (about $51) to ¥3,071 (about $20), a 60% discount. On Nintendo eShop, the sale runs from July 15 (Wednesday) in Japan (July 14 in North America) through August 10 (Monday) in Japan (August 9 in North America), with the price dropping from ¥7,678 (about $51) to ¥4,606 (about $31), a 40% discount. A free trial version that allows players to carry over save data is also available.

Persona 3 Reload has surpassed 3 million units sold worldwide. It is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2, and the current sale and free trial version apply to these same platforms.
