The life simulation game Crazy Life, whose development began when its creator was a first-year high school student and took about two and a half years to complete, is running a free, one-week-only open test on Steam. The developer is Adomi (@ADMILAL__), a solo developer who is now 19.

The test runs for one week, from August 28 to September 4, 2026, and is free to join. Clicking “Request Access” on the Steam store page lets players jump straight in. The game is made under the brand name ADOMI GAMES, with Adomi handling everything from planning to development alone. Adomi also announced the start of the test on his own X account, describing it as a board-game-style life simulation playable with up to six players and featuring cards capable of throwing a friend’s life into chaos.

Adomi published the Steam store page in November 2025, when he was an 18-year-old high school student. Japanese media reported at the time that Takuro Mizobe, representative director of Pocketpair, Inc., the developer of Palworld, sent words of encouragement on X. The game was built with Unreal Engine 5, and according to the official release, development wrapped up around the time Adomi finished high school.

The game is set in the fictional metropolis of Shishizaka City. Time progresses in one-year turns, and players go through life events such as getting a job, changing jobs, getting married, raising children, and buying property. There are 60 types of cards in the game, some of which can throw other players’ lives into chaos. Whoever has the highest total assets at the end wins.

The full release has not yet launched, and a release date on Steam has not been set — what’s currently running is only the limited-time free test. The game itself currently supports only Japanese, though English support is planned for the full release.
