The venue is the Institut français de Tokyo. Speakers include Fumito Ueda, known for ICO and Shadow of the Colossus; Persona series director Katsura Hashino; character designer Shigenori Soejima; and composer Shoji Meguro, among others. Alongside the on-stage talks, the event will also feature a live performance of game music with Yuzo Koshiro and others, plus a live drawing session by Katsuya Terada.

Deck-Building Roguelite Menherarium: Deadly Dice Coming to Nintendo Switch on August 13
Phoenixx (Phoenixx Inc.) and テスカトリポカ have announced that the Nintendo Switch version of Menherarium: Deadly Dice will launch on August 13, 2026. The game centers on Chinchiro, a Japanese dice gambling game, with players staking blood as they try to survive seven days. The Steam version already launched on February 18, 2026, and as of this writing, 92% of its 639 Steam user reviews are positive.

Free Short Game 小早川さんはソウルライク Turns Conversation Into a Soulslike Battle
Solo developer Hokuto has released 小早川さんはソウルライク (roughly, “Ms. Kobayakawa Is a Soulslike”), a free short adventure game set in a school after hours. Players work through a conversation with a girl named 小早川さん using four commands: weak attack, strong attack, parry, and roll. A single playthrough takes about five minutes. It’s available in two places: on BOOTH for PC and on the browser-based platform PLiCy, though the PLiCy version appears to be Japanese-only.

Bullet-Hell Shooter Caladrius 2 / Dark Element Announced, First New Entry in 13 Years
MOSS CO., LTD. has announced the bullet-hell shooter Caladrius 2 / Dark Element, the first new entry in the Caladrius series in 13 years. It features “Shame Break,” a system in which the outfits of both allies and enemies tear when those characters are hit, and it’s headed to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Release is planned for winter 2026.
