SEGA and ATLUS have released a lyric video for “Prime Time Golden Hour Show,” the new battle theme from Persona 4 Revival, due out February 18, 2027.
The composition and arrangement were handled by Ryota Kozuka of the ATLUS Sound Team, with vocals by Shiori Sasaki. The video features on-screen lyrics, and the track simultaneously received an early release on music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and iTunes Store. Famitsu reported the news on August 30, Japan time.
Kozuka, born in 1984, joined Atlus in February 2008. According to him, he met members of the sound team at the time, including Kenichi Tsuchiya, during his job interview. He says his interest in game music began with a boss battle in the Super Famicom version of FINAL FANTASY VI, and that he first encountered the Shin Megami Tensei series through the Game Boy Advance titles, with the Sega Saturn version of Devil Summoner also serving as an influence.
His first job after joining the company was arranging Persona 4’s “Junes Theme.” According to him, the jingle itself was composed by Tsuchiya. Kozuka went on to handle the sound for Shin Megami Tensei IV, and a Dengeki Online article introduces him as the main composer of the Shin Megami Tensei series, crediting him with numerous tracks.
Vocalist Sasaki has been a member of Fujikochans, the in-house chorus group for the band led by Yuji Ohno, known for his score work on Lupin the 3rd. She has also worked as a chorus singer on Yumi Matsutoya’s concert tours.
Persona 4 Revival is a full remake of 2008’s Persona 4 and 2012’s Persona 4 Golden. All event dialogue will be newly recorded with full voice acting, and every track will be rearranged into full-length versions. The game is set for release on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam/Windows), as well as via Xbox Game Pass, with a physical release available only on PlayStation 5.
