New Terranigma Development Teased, Full Reveal Coming During a Show on August 25

The video features an arrangement of an in-game track and credits for SQUARE ENIX, QUINTET, and Kamui Fujiwara. It also includes the following line in English: “Wake up. All the living things in the world await your awakening.” Details will be revealed on the retro-game show Pixel Arcadia, airing at 3:00 AM on August 25, Japan time (2:00 PM on August 24, Eastern Time in North America). Character designer Kamui Fujiwara has also reacted to the news on his own X account. Terranigma was released in 1995, developed by QUINTET and published by Enix. Famitsu notes that, as of now, Terranigma has not received a port or remake on any other platform.

SQUARE ENIX has released six short videos introducing worlds from KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] on the collection’s official YouTube channel. The collection is set for release on October 8, 2026, Japan time. The videos cover six worlds: Toy Box, Timeless River, Wonderland, Deep Space, Prankster’s Paradise, and The Caribbean. The collection is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Splatoon 3 Ver. 11.3.0 Adds New Weapon: Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica

Nintendo will release the Splatoon 3 balance update “Ver. 11.3.0” at 10:00 AM on August 20, Japan time (9:00 PM on August 19, Eastern Time in North America). Players with save data showing that they have completed Splatoon Raiders will unlock the new weapon Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica, which performs identically to the Tentatek Splattershot. The update reduces the .52 Gal’s ink-coverage radius by 8%, and increases the Snipewriter 5H’s ink consumption by about 7%. On the buff side, the Trizooka’s projectile speed goes up by about 13%, and the Carbon Roller’s ink-spreading speed rises by about 5%.

Fan-Made Game HoloCure - Save the Fans! Adds 9 Characters in Ver. 0.8

The solo developer of HoloCure - Save the Fans!, a free action game themed around hololive, has announced that the next update, “Ver. 0.8,” will add nine playable characters. They are hololive 5th Generation members Yukihana Lamy, Momosuzu Nene, Shishiro Botan, and Omaru Polka, plus holoX members La+ Darknesss, Takane Lui, Hakui Koyori, Kazama Iroha, and Sakamata Chloe. The update is planned for mid-autumn, and the game is free to play on PC (Steam / itch.io).

New holo Indie Title HoloCozy Gets a Steam Store Page

A Steam store page has gone live for HoloCozy, the newest title from holo Indie, hololive production’s fan-content game brand. It’s a desktop companion/room-customization game that stays running on your desktop, featuring five talents: Tokino Sora, Usada Pekora, Shiranui Flare, Shirogane Noel, and Houshou Marine. It can play background music and ambient sounds, and it includes stream notifications and a Pomodoro timer. HoloCozy is being developed by Ninth Games, was announced by CCMC, and is set to launch sometime in 2026.
