According to a report from Japanese gaming media, official footage of FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION shows that the piano can also produce acoustic guitar, drum, and upright bass sounds. Another clip in the same post reportedly shows young Tifa with her parents: her father’s face is visible, her mother appears only from behind, and both can be heard speaking. The piano is a mechanic from the previous game, FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, and it’s being expanded for the trilogy’s final entry. The game launches April 8, 2027, on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store). It is single-player, and its story builds to the final showdown with Sephiroth.
SQUARE ENIX posted the videos on the game’s official X account: a Chocobo video on October 26 and the piano video on October 27. In the piano post, the official account writes that young Tifa’s special connection to music will also be portrayed in greater depth. The pieces are tracks from the original FINAL FANTASY VII, and you play them yourself.

The scene with her parents arrived in the same post as the piano gameplay, so time at the piano may double as a look into Tifa’s past.
The October 26 video is about exploring the Midgar area, where the story begins, and is said to show a Chocobo gliding down from high ground with the player on its back. The official post says the new perspective may let players see and discover things that were previously out of view.
