FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION, due out April 8, 2027, will be playable at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026. However, only 280 hands-on invitations are available through an advance lottery, and applications close at 11:59 p.m. Japan time on September 8, 2026.

SQUARE ENIX opened its TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 special site on September 4, 2026. The FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION demo will run throughout the show, letting visitors experience part of the game.
Only people registered with the company’s membership service can enter the lottery. Applicants must also hold a TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 admission ticket and live in Japan. Winners will be announced on September 11, 2026, with notification sent to the registered email address. The e-ticket is limited to one per person, so companions cannot enter, and a photo ID will be required at the venue.
The booth will include three photo spots themed around the FINAL FANTASY VII Remake trilogy.
FINAL FANTASY XIV: Evercold, due out in January 2027, will feature a character meet-and-greet with Moogle and Alpha at the booth. A specially designed bag featuring artwork from both that title and FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION will be given away as a promotional item.
DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World (due out December 3, 2026) will feature the character Fluffy in a meet-and-greet. Participants receive Fluffy and Slime stickers, and those who answer an on-site survey get a tote bag.
There are other playable stations as well. FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE, due out October 22, 2026, lets players pick from three save data options: starting fresh with “NEW GAME,” tackling a mid-game dungeon, or fighting a tough enemy in the arena. DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined will be playable from the very beginning.

In total, 11 titles appear on the special site. The rest of the lineup includes DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, KINGDOM HEARTS IV, DRAGON QUEST X Online, DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY, and DRAGON QUEST Smash/Grow.
