Umamusume: Pretty Derby to Add “Skill Set” Feature for Bulk Skill Acquisition in September 11 Update

On August 22, 2026, Cygames, Inc. revealed details of the update coming to Umamusume: Pretty Derby on September 11. The new “skill set” feature lets players register skill combinations in advance, with skills organized into three groups—top priority, priority, and normal—and then load a set from a shared ID, the trainer’s guide, or a hall-of-fame Umamusume to acquire all the skills in a few taps. The update will also add a career plan sheet that automatically sets Support Cards, rotations, and skill sets to match a career goal; trainer abilities that offer effects such as reducing the skill points needed by 4%; and a new event centered on Agnes Tachyon that lets players strengthen all factors up to three stars.
