Dragami Games, Ltd. announced on September 3, 2026, that a completely new title in the Lollipop Chainsaw series will make its world premiere at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026. Four demo stations will be set up in a corner of the SEGA/ATLUS Booth, letting visitors play the game.

The title is being developed by JP UNIVERSE Inc., the studio founded in February 2022 by Hajime Tabata, who directed FINAL FANTASY XV. Dragami Games, the series’ licensor, is supervising and assisting with production. The license was granted by NADA HOLDINGS CORP., a Taiwan-based company that invests in and develops anime, comic, and game IP.

The game’s name, supported platforms, and release timing have not been announced. Pricing has not been decided either. As a partner, SEGA is handling distribution in Japan, but plans for release outside Japan have not been announced.

At TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026, PeachMilky, the official ambassador and cosplayer for protagonist Juliet Starling, will also appear in a new outfit. Two talk shows are scheduled: one on the stage at the SEGA/ATLUS Booth at 11:40 a.m. on September 18 (Japan time), and another on the TGS2026 Main Stage at 9:40 a.m. on September 19 (Japan time).

The series began with the original 2012 release. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has served as the publisher in North America. In 2024, a remastered version, LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP, was released, including in Europe and the Americas, and its success also helped push the series’ worldwide cumulative sales past 1.5 million units. Unlike RePOP, which was a remaster, the newly announced title is a completely new entry.
