Monster Hunter Puzzles: Felyne Isles shuts down on January 14, 2027, but the game lives on in a one-time purchase edition. Capcom has announced Monster Hunter Puzzles: Felyne Isles Furever, a one-time purchase edition separate from the current free-to-play app, launching on iOS and Android on November 12, 2026. Capcom’s English announcement page notes that Furever may not be available in some countries and regions. Nintendo Switch and Steam versions have also been announced, with no dates yet.

The stars are Felynes, the cat companions that follow Hunters around in the Monster Hunter series. It’s a match-3 where pieces move diagonally as well as vertically and horizontally. Giant monsters have wrecked the islands, and you solve puzzles to drive them off and rebuild. Special pieces appear during “Meowllocation Time,” and raising your “Pawtential” earns skills that help with puzzles. Avatar dress-up is in too.

In the current app, in-app purchases and VIP License sales stop on November 12, and the Master Rankings competition ends the same day. Your gems and boosters stay usable until service ends. After that, offline features remain playable, but Capcom will no longer provide support.

Current players can transfer their progress to Furever, but only within the same OS: iOS progress can’t move to the Android edition of Furever. The current app has to be on Ver. 2.25.0 or later, and deleting it before transferring means you can’t transfer at all. Some data won’t carry over or will change.

Capcom describes Furever as playable offline, though it still needs a connection on startup to check content.
