The 3D dungeon-crawling RPG S.O.L School Of Labyrinth, in which players explore an otherworld spanning 50 floors beneath an old school building, launched on Steam on August 13, 2026 (Japan time). It was developed by SUSHI Lab and published by SUISHIN.
Players wake up with no memory in a mysterious space known as the Nameless Auditorium. Led by a mysterious “Teacher,” they descend into the depths beneath the old school building. The goal of the exploration is to find a way back to everyday life. Steam’s store page describes the game this way: “A dungeon crawl RPG set in an otherworldly realm beneath an old school building. Explore again and again, restore your base, and find your way back to everyday life.”
The party is made up of four students. Each student’s role is determined by the club they belong to. Combat is turn-based, with players selecting commands and managing three stats — HP, MP, and SAN — as they progress. SAN represents sanity. The game’s defining feature is how it incorporates club activities into its school-set dungeon-crawling RPG, with clubs determining party roles.
Exploration isn’t a one-time thing. Players gather materials in the otherworld and bring them back to restore their base. Once they’ve stocked up on equipment and consumables, they head back underground and continue their descent. The ultimate goal is the lowest floor — floor 50.
The developer, SUSHI Lab, describes itself as a “game development circle.” According to the exhibitor list, it showed the game at booth 2B-16 at Tokyo Game Dungeon 13, an indie game exhibition held in Tokyo on August 8, 2026. At the event, individual developers and small indie development teams directly exhibit their own games.
The game is available for PC via Steam and supports Japanese and English. Of the game’s 32 user reviews on Steam, 23 are positive, giving it a “Mostly Positive” rating, though the sample size remains small.
