Pocketpair to bring its largest-ever booth to TGS2026 with Palworld
Pocketpair, Inc. announced that it will bring its largest-ever booth to TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026. A total of 23 official cosplayers will take part, and the booth will feature a life-size statue of a Pal along with a moving Jetragon figure. The hands-on area will also include titles published by Pocketpair, such as Windrose, which has surpassed 2 million units sold worldwide.

Konami adds Panic Bomber W to SUPER BOMBERMAN COLLECTION for free
Konami Digital Entertainment announced that it has added Panic Bomber W, a competitive puzzle game originally released in 1995, to SUPER BOMBERMAN COLLECTION via a free update. Supported platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. A physical edition goes on sale August 27.

Sanrio to make first TGS2026 appearance under its Sanrio Games brand
Sanrio Company, Ltd. will exhibit at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 for the first time under Sanrio Games, its in-house game brand launched in April 2026. The show runs September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe. Visitors will get an early hands-on look at the party game Hello Kitty Party Land, launching October 29, and the rhythm game Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!, set for release in 2027. On stage, Kuromi will perform a DJ set, and Pompompurin, who topped the 2026 Sanrio Character Ranking, will give a live performance.

Capcom holds first-ever sale on Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams on PlayStation Store
Capcom is holding the CAPCOM END OF SUMMER SALE across its digital storefronts. Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, a 2006 title whose PlayStation Store release began on August 18, is on sale for the first time. The release is a port of the PlayStation 2 version, and the sale for PlayStation Plus members runs through September 1. On the Xbox Store, the Monster Hunter and Resident Evil series are also on sale at the same time. Capcom has stated that this announcement is intended for a Japanese audience only.

Capcom launches fan radio show for the Monster Hunter series
Capcom is launching a new radio show for fans of the Monster Hunter series. The first episode airs at 7:00 p.m. on August 21, 2026, Japan time (6:00 a.m. Eastern Time the same day), with two episodes scheduled for August: the 21st and the 28th. It will be available on Capcom’s official YouTube channel and Spotify. The talk-variety show’s first episode features a manga artist as a guest.
