Fate/EXTRA Record Reveals Character Trailer for Caster, a Possible Servant

Aniplex Inc. has released the first character trailer introducing Caster, a possible Servant in the dungeon-exploration RPG Fate/EXTRA Record, set to launch on January 28, 2027. Caster has fox ears and a tail and practices sorcery, and while known for a venomous streak, Caster obeys the Master’s commands and favors clever tactics built on intelligence. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

PATLABOR the Case Files Enters Early Access on PlayStation 5

Good Smile Company has begun offering buyers of the Digital Deluxe Edition early access to the PlayStation 5 download version of the 3D action game PATLABOR the Case Files. Players control more than 20 Labors, including Ingram, and fight from the perspectives of both Special Vehicles Section 2 and the opposing side. The game is developed by Chime, with mechanical design supervision by Yutaka Izubuchi, script supervision by Kazunori Ito, and character art supervision by Akemi Takada. The full release following early access is listed as September 16, 2026 on the Steam page and as September 17 in press reports.

THE IDOLM@STER SideM Launches Its First Home Console Game Project

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and D3PUBLISHER announced the launch of THE IDOLM@STER SideM series’ first home console game project during a live event performance. Players will produce 49 idols across 16 units in a completely new story. The project is planned for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. The official title and release timing will be announced later.

Selfie-Perspective Horror Game Cyan Heart Launches on Steam October 9

Independent developer Shoei Sio has announced that the horror exploration adventure Cyan Heart will launch on PC via Steam on October 9, 2026, with a Nintendo Switch version also planned. Players control a girl holding a camera, viewing the world through a selfie-style perspective that never shows what lies ahead, and solve puzzles by reading the changes behind her, at her feet, and in her expressions reflected on screen as they head deeper into an abandoned facility. The story is built around a power called Magenta Heart, which once sustained the world and has since turned into something called Cyan. A free demo is currently available on Steam.

Document-Checking Adventure Do You Want To Know Your Oshi? Casts You as a VTuber Agency Security Guard

NEOLAVI has announced the PC document-checking adventure Do You Want To Know Your Oshi? and released gameplay footage. The game will be published by Qmax and indiegamesjapan. The game is set at the VTuber agency STELLARIA, and players take on the role of a longtime listener who has supported an affiliated VTuber since their debut. By day, the player works as a security guard, checking visitors’ entry passes and affiliation certificates to decide who may enter; by night, the player watches that VTuber’s broadcast as an ordinary fan. The player’s choices about whether to protect a favorite performer or fulfill the duties of the job lead to multiple endings. A release date has not been announced.
