Khezu Crashes a Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance Demo

Capcom streamed live gameplay of the expansion Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance on the TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 stage. While director Takuro Hiraoka was hunting the new monster Araketa, Khezu poked its head out of a small hole and interrupted the demo, later showing its full body in a cave-like area. Khezu had already appeared in Monster Hunter Rise, but this marks its first appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. The stream showed it breathing out a bolt of lightning and stretching out its neck to bite.

DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered Gets Online Two-Player Co-op After Launch

Koei Tecmo Games announced that online two-player co-op for DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered won’t be included at launch and will be added in a post-launch update. At TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026’s Special Stage: Battle of Hulao Gate, director Hirotaka Iyama demoed a playable build centered on defeating Lu Bu. A new Classic Settings option lets players bring lock-on and camera behavior closer to the original game. The game launches on October 1, 2026. The digital version will be available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, while the Nintendo Switch 2 physical version will be sold as a Game-Key Card.

Persona 4 Revival’s In-Game Song “True Story -Revival-” Released

ATLUS released the in-game song “True Story -Revival-” from Persona 4 Revival. Rie Kugimiya, who voices Rise Kujikawa, sings a new arrangement of the track. Alongside the release of an official lyric video, the song also went live on music streaming services ahead of the game’s launch. Persona 4 Revival is set to launch on February 18, 2027, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version following on May 20, 2027.

TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 Cancels September 21 Over Typhoon No. 25

The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA), which organizes TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026, announced that it is canceling the event’s September 21 show day due to the approach of Typhoon No. 25. CESA said it is prioritizing the safety of visitors and exhibitors, citing expected wind, rain, and transit disruptions from the afternoon onward. Tickets for September 21 will be refunded.

Sanrio’s FRAGARIAMEMORIES Color of Wishes Launches Worldwide Simultaneously in Fall 2027

Sanrio Company, Ltd. announced that the smartphone game FRAGARIAMEMORIES Color of Wishes will launch worldwide simultaneously in fall 2027, and released a new promotional video. The game adapts a media mix project that tells, through music, the story of knights who serve Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty and Pompompurin. The official English tagline reads: “Repaint the world with the colors of your memories.”
