hololive Dreams Adds Its Third Area, Soda Pop Lagoon

hololive Dreams, co-developed by COVER and QualiArts, added its third area, Soda Pop Lagoon, in the major Ver.1.2.0 update on September 29. The update also added fishing, a new minigame called Splash Ball, and new swimsuit outfits for four characters. The game is playable in English on Steam, iOS, and Android.

Monster Hunter Outlanders Launches on Mobile October 29

Monster Hunter Outlanders, a hunting action game from China, officially launches on iOS and Android on October 29. TiMi Studio Group develops it under license from Capcom. The official description says it pairs exploration and crafting with the series’ familiar hunts, playable anywhere. The latest trailer features a new monster, Ruger Aidal. Pre-registration is open on the App Store and Google Play, and English is supported.

DO NOT PLAY Delayed; SCRAP Takes Over Development Under a New Structure

SCRAP, the company behind Real Escape Game, announced on September 29 that DO NOT PLAY, a horror adventure it had planned for summer 2026, has been delayed. The co-development arrangement with Fahrenheit 213 ended by mutual agreement, and SCRAP will continue development under a new structure. The new release date has not been decided. The game is presented as data recovered from a legendary browser game said to have existed in the 2000s. It is planned for Steam, with English support.

Wizardry: The Five Ordeals Will Let You Edit Up to 20 Starting Characters

A major update planned for this fall adds a new setting to the Scenario Editor in Wizardry: The Five Ordeals. The new setting uses test characters when a scenario is initialized, so the starting characters, fixed until now, can be edited freely, up to 20 of them. You can build a level 999 party with its spells and gear in place, or a deliberately weak one. The editor is a Steam-only feature, and scenarios made with it can also be played on the Switch version.

Fuman Ghoul Demo Arrives October 8: A Race-to-School Action Game About a Girl Who Dies If She’s Late

Team Sumi will release a free demo of its race-to-school running action game Fuman Ghoul on Steam on October 8. The protagonist is a girl under a curse that kills her if she is late. When stress builds up, monsters appear, and you dodge obstacles and take down enemies to reach school in time. The demo runs about 20 to 25 minutes including the tutorial, and has dress-up and minigames. English is supported, and the full game is planned for Q4 2026.
