WORJONG, a Mahjong Game Built From English Words, Launches on Steam October 30
Solo developer KEN (Circle KEN) of Aichi Prefecture is making WORJONG, in which you draw and discard letter tiles from A to Z and win by completing four three-letter English words. A hand starts at 11 tiles; you draw one and build four words. One rule unique to WORJONG is that when another player wins, your hand carries over into the next round. The “E” tile doubles as mahjong’s East wind. Modes include solo matches against the CPU and online matches for up to four players, and the game also has a hint feature. The game supports English.
