Eternal Anima Is a Turn-Based RPG Where You See the Result of Enemy Moves First

Marvelous Inc.’s new RPG Eternal Anima launches March 4, 2027 on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). The protagonist, Wade, reads the memories that live in objects and inherits the abilities and classes of heroes from the past. In battle, Future Sight shows enemy moves and their results in advance, and you change the outcome by delaying or disrupting those moves. Director Katsuhisa Higuchi, who has 40 years of development experience, worked mainly on combat during his years at Square. In an interview, Higuchi explained the structure: you change the past through the story and the future through battle. He says Eternal Anima is a JRPG he can call his life’s work.
