The Velvet Room is home to Igor, Margaret and Marie. In Persona Fusion, you combine multiple Personas into a new one and pass skills down to it. Marie sells cards that each teach a specific skill, and once you’ve obtained a card, you can buy its skill later on. There is also a way to check ahead of time whether a fusion that meets the conditions will give you a strong skill or a stat boost. The game launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam).

FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE Opens at 95% Positive on Steam
FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE launched October 22, and according to a report, its Steam version opened at Very Positive, with 95% of user reviews positive. The same report puts the peak at 20,319 concurrent players (per SteamDB). It credits turn-based command battles and an adventure reminiscent of the series, HD-2D visuals and music, and a reunion with characters from FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS for the ratings. It is available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

ACE COMBAT ZERO: THE BELKAN WAR Can Now Launch on Its Own on Steam
The Steam version of ACE COMBAT ZERO: THE BELKAN WAR, distributed as a pre-order bonus for ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE, can now be launched as a standalone app. Until now, it could only be started through ACE COMBAT 8. The standalone app is rolling out gradually to the libraries of users who received the bonus. On the same PC, existing save data carries over automatically, while on a different PC, it can be shared through Steam Cloud. The game supports 2160p at 60fps, and the required storage has dropped from about 140GB to 3.2GB.

Wo Long 2 Adjusts Insight Skills and Spirit After Demo Feedback
Team NINJA has published a feedback report on the September Alpha Demo for its action RPG Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember. In the demo, players fought Cao Cao’s army and monsters alongside the forces of Liu Bei, a hero of the Three Kingdoms era, at Changban, a well-known battlefield of that era. Based on player feedback, the developers will simplify the new Insight Skills combat mechanic and improve how their success is judged. They will also adjust how the Spirit gauge fills and drains. Graphics and load times will also improve. The game launches March 4, 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto Receives Japan’s Order of Culture
Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has been chosen as a recipient of Japan’s Order of Culture. This year’s recipients were announced on October 23. According to a report, he is the first person from the field of games and digital entertainment to receive the honor. At a press conference, Miyamoto said that games are not something a single creator makes alone, and that many people have made them together. His best-known works include Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda and Pikmin.
