Attack on Titan 3, out December 10, tells a single linear story with no branches and no “what if” routes, the producer and director said in an interview.
Attack on Titan 3 Has No Branching Story, and Its Hero Comes From a Generation Before Eren
The developers said they considered a “what if” story but passed on it, since it didn’t fit the protagonist’s convictions or the goal of bringing the story to a close. The protagonist, an original character, comes from the generation before Eren and the others, and counts Hans Zoe and Levi among close colleagues and friends. The story also covers the period before Eren joins the Scout Regiment. In combat, you can slide in with omni-directional mobility or vault over enemies for a surprise attack. The game is coming to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
