Production sketches of the racewear for Rei Ayanami and Asuka Shikinami Langley, who join Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds in January 2027, are now out.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Shares Production Sketches of Its Evangelion Racewear

Ahead of the start of Season Pass Two, the game’s official Japanese X account has shared production sketches for the EVANGELION Pack, the second paid DLC in Season Pass Two. The sketches show racewear based on the plugsuits that Evangelion pilots wear. Rei Ayanami’s is mostly white with the number 00, and Asuka Shikinami Langley’s is mostly red with 02. The DLC is due in January 2027, when both join as racers. The course is Tokyo-III, and the machines are EVA-01, EVA-00 and EVA-02.

Espio, Charmy and Vector Join SONIC PICO PARK

TECOPARK’s SONIC PICO PARK has revealed Espio and Charmy as new playable characters, and Vector as a “large character.” The three make up Team Chaotix and join a roster that already includes Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Rouge and Omega. It’s an action puzzle game for 2 to 8 players, who take on different roles and work together to reach the exit. It launches November 12 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam). The PICO PARK series has sold more than 8.5 million copies in total.

Solo Dev aramaa’s Shiftomino Moves a Soul From Block to Block

Solo developer aramaa has released the action puzzle game Shiftomino on Steam. Your body is a block: push it against another block and use an ability called Shift to move your soul into it and keep going. It plays with the directional keys alone, with no time limit or penalties. Collecting the gems in a stage lets you undo your last move. The estimated playtime is about 2 to 3 hours. It builds on the version released on itch.io, with improved controls and added stages and mechanics. It won a Judges’ Award at Cygames Creative Contest 2025.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls Adds Phoenix Cyclops as Its First DLC Character

An update has added the first DLC character, Phoenix Cyclops, to Arc System Works’ 4-on-4 fighting game MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. It’s a version of Cyclops empowered by the Phoenix Force, with its own music and extra costumes. The same update lengthens assist cooldowns so the screen is crowded with information slightly less often. On PC, a benchmark test now runs before online matches, and players who meet the baseline are matched with each other. The second DLC is Thor (Jane Foster), followed by Venom in spring 2027 and Jubilee in summer 2027.

Cygames, Inc. has announced a mini collaboration between its free-to-play card game Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond and Godzilla. It starts after maintenance on November 6, and no end date has been announced. The collaboration adds a card style with newly drawn Godzilla art. The game is available on iOS and PC (Steam).
