All four Year 1 DLC fighters for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, the 4-on-4 tag fighting game starring Marvel characters, now have release windows. Phoenix Cyclops arrives first on November 2, followed by Thor (Jane Foster), Venom and Jubilee. The base game launched in August 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam).
Arc System Works, the studio behind the Guilty Gear series, developed the game. It launched with 20 characters, and you pick four of them to form a team. Working out which four to run together is part of the game.
The Year 1 content comes as the Year 1 Character and Stage Pass, which includes four characters and one stage. The Pass is sold separately, and the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions include it from the start. Two Cyclops costumes, “Classic” and “Legacy,” also arrive on November 2 alongside Phoenix Cyclops.
Thor (Jane Foster) is the second Year 1 character and arrives this winter. A new trailer shows her in-game look for the first time. The trailer’s music was composed and arranged by Keiichi Okabe of MONACA.
Thor, Venom and Jubilee were announced at Evo France in October. According to the trailer, Venom and Jubilee join in 2027: Venom in spring, along with a new stage, and Jubilee in summer.
Matches support crossplay between PlayStation 5 and PC. Online, there are ranked, casual and room matches, plus lobbies that hold up to 64 players. Online matches on PlayStation 5 require PlayStation Plus. Offline, you get Episode Mode, local matches and Training.
With a new fighter arriving each season through summer 2027, every addition looks set to mix four-character combinations you haven’t seen yet into the teams you face in ranked matches.
