A real property that appears exactly as it is in the horror game 日本事故物件監視協会3 -Japan Stigmatized Property- is now being shown for 24 hours via a fixed camera.

ANNYA, a group that organizes test-of-courage events, is livestreaming fixed-camera footage of the property “Y Residence” on YouTube for 24 hours starting at 5 p.m. Japan time on September 5 (4 a.m. Eastern Time the same day). The stream page includes a notice stating that the footage is live and asking viewers not to report anything—including to authorities—on their own initiative.

日本事故物件監視協会3 -Japan Stigmatized Property- is a spot-the-difference horror simulation in which players act as an Inspector for the organization Japan Stigmatized Property, searching for and reporting “anomalies” in surveillance footage from real-world properties. In Japanese real estate, the term “stigmatized property” refers to a property subject to mandatory disclosure requirements in a sale or lease because of a past incident or accident. Locations featured in the game include Y Residence, Kannonzaki Park, “Blue House,” and the remains of a former military fort built in the Meiji era. The game also supports an online co-op shift in which two players monitor the same property together.

ANNYA has been involved in creating the game’s locations since the first title in the series, researching actual event venues and reportedly haunted sites. “Y Residence,” the property now being shown, is reportedly one of the locations the group has worked on.
