G-MODE Corporation announced on September 3, 2026 that the first playable demo of the dungeon-crawling novel RPG The Streamer’s Alt Account Labyrinth, currently in development, will be available at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026. This will be the first time the game has been made available to play in any form.

The demo on offer is a roughly 10-minute novel-style playable build, a specially edited version of the game’s opening. It is fully voiced and includes a specially made music video that will be shown for the first time. G-MODE says it plans to release gameplay footage later for those unable to attend. Booth No.09-E03 is located in the Indie Game Area of Halls 9-11 at Makuhari Messe. The event runs from September 17 to 21.

The story begins on social media. Just after reports surface that Neon Hino, vocalist of the popular girl band Rag Drops, has died, an anonymous alt account accuses the band of wrongdoing. The surviving members are pulled into UraU, an otherworld given shape by social media’s darker side, and set out to track down whoever is behind the account. Players move back and forth between dungeon exploration and adventure segments to progress the story. The game features seven characters, all of whom are voiced.

The game is being developed by Acacia, a brand of Re,AER. The previous title, Magical Girl Witch Trials, has earned an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam, with 97% of its 13,562 user reviews positive, and had sold more than 200,000 copies as of October 2025. Creative producer Toshiyuki Hata said in a November 2025 interview that the new game would put more focus on the darkness and trauma explored in the previous title.

The game is planned for release on PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch. No release date has been set; Steam’s store page lists only “2026.” Pricing has not been decided either.
