Arjun’s attacks turn an opponent’s health bar gray. The second character Capcom is adding to Street Fighter 6’s Year 4 lineup builds up recoverable damage — health that slowly returns over time — and aims to close things out before it heals.

Arjun launches October 13, 2026. Capcom announced him on September 8. He’ll be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, and will be added to the existing base game. Capcom releases new characters in yearly groups it calls “Year.”

Recoverable damage heals on its own if left alone. Players using Arjun want to land a finishing blow before it fully recovers — give the opponent time, and the health comes back. That push-and-pull over attrition is at the core of how Arjun plays.

Arjun is a former police officer from India. He was carrying out a mission with a partner when that partner was killed by an unknown assailant, and Arjun himself was framed and is now on the run. He fights by combining extraordinary lung capacity with yoga breathing techniques.

Arjun isn’t the first India-born, yoga-practicing fighter in Street Fighter 6. Dhalsim, whom Capcom describes as a monk and yoga master from India, is already part of the roster, and yoga runs through his move names too. Dhalsim’s moves themselves draw on yoga, while Arjun — the former officer — draws on yoga breathing techniques and uses bare-handed strikes.

Six special moves have been revealed. Arm of Justice is a punch delivered with a wrapping motion of the arm. The light and medium versions are safe on block. With the heavy version, even if it’s blocked, Arjun gets to act again before his opponent does. Indomitable Defense is an armored move that absorbs an opponent’s attack while Arjun walks forward or backward. There’s also a command grab, Ghastly Interrogation.

The remaining three are Cruel Shoulder, a dashing body check; Divine Pillar, which raises a rock out of the ground; and Breathing Ring, a projectile that sends out a ring of air.

There are three Super Arts. Level 1 is Howling Destruction, Level 2 is Instant Oblivion, and Level 3 is Yaksha’s Order.
