DEMONS’ NIGHT FEVER Is Out: The More Minions You Blow Up, the Stronger Your Army Gets
Arc System Works released DEMONS’ NIGHT FEVER, developed by Drecom, on October 22 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). It’s a grid-based tactical RPG in which you lead the villains’ side. The centerpiece is the Peon Exploitation System: during a fight, you can detonate your minions, called Peons, to wipe out the enemy, and fallen Peons are reborn stronger. Between battles, you spend the Perverse Points you’ve earned to train your army. In the story, a demon who has been turned into a baby teams up with a gloomy man to regain his power so he can take down a false god.

Mega Man: Dual Override Reveals Its Third Boss
A new boss for Capcom’s Mega Man: Dual Override was revealed on October 22. It’s the third boss shown so far, after Twinkle Girl, a robot comedian-in-training, and Jet Man, leader of a stunt-flying squadron. Mega Man and Proto Man are both playable, each with different abilities and movement. The game launches in spring 2027 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam and other storefronts).

Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced Is Out on Switch 2
Inti Creates released the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced, a collection of three games in the series, on October 22. It comes with an added mode, Azure Striker Gunvolt GX, that tells a new story, and owners of the original Nintendo Switch version can upgrade with a paid pass. On Steam, the mode came out as DLC on October 22. PlayStation 5 also gets the mode as DLC. In the mode, Copen, the lead character in a spin-off series, and Gunvolt fight as a pair. The character on standby builds up Inspiration, and swapping them in gives a temporary power boost. When a dedicated gauge fills, the two attack together.

Ocarina of Time on Switch 2: A 27GB Download
Nintendo’s store page lists an estimated download size of 27GB for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo Switch 2. It launches November 5, 2026. The same page highlights remade visuals, cutscenes with voice acting, orchestral music, and jump-and-dash controls.

Pokémon Plans Its First Permanent Store Outside Asia, in London
The Pokémon Company International announced on October 21 that it will open a permanent Pokémon store in London. The company says it will be the first permanent Pokémon retail store outside Asia. It will open by 2029, and the location and exact opening date haven’t been revealed. The London store is the first of several permanent stores planned outside Asia, and the number of stores hasn’t been announced.
