Sonic Rumble Party Gets Anniversary Key Art and Season 11
SEGA is planning special missions and anniversary skins ahead of the first anniversary. Season 11 began on October 23, adding new skins and two new skills. The shop now stocks the Season 11 skins and Buddies. The game is free to play on iOS, Android and PC (Steam).

Zelda’s Eiji Aonuma Formally Receives France’s Ordre des Arts et des Lettres
Eiji Aonuma, producer of The Legend of Zelda series at Nintendo, was made a Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres on October 23 at the French Ministry of Culture in Paris. The honor was announced in November 2023, but no date had been set for the ceremony. According to a Le Figaro reporter who attended, Aonuma closed his speech in French, addressing his wife in the audience. Shigeru Miyamoto and Michel Ancel are among the game industry figures who have also received the order.

1992 Mecha Strategy RPG Vixen 357 Arrives on Steam
Vixen 357, a mecha strategy RPG that Masaya released for the Genesis (MEGA DRIVE) in 1992, is now on Steam. A sequel to a 1990 game, it shares that game’s world and is set in 2396. Slash Unit, a special forces team, is attacked by an unidentified enemy during training. The game has 16 maps with grid-based, turn-based battles. Pilots and mechs can be paired freely, but any that fall in battle are gone for good. The Steam version supports English and adds rewind, double speed and the option to save anywhere.

Annihilated Gets a Reworked Demo on Steam
An updated demo for Death Kumiai’s Annihilated is now on Steam: the build shown at Steam Next Fest in February, with reworked balance and presentation. You play a survivor of the rescue party sent after a missing hero’s party. You take just one of four broken companions along and push through dungeons in turn-based card battles. Weapons and items have a set number of uses, and the final use is significantly more powerful. The demo runs through the first boss, The Outcast, and save data is planned to carry over to the full game. The game launches November 10.

Hatsune Miku Connecting Puzzle TAMAGOTORI Deluxe Hits Steam October 28
Hatsune Miku Connecting Puzzle TAMAGOTORI Deluxe launches on Steam on October 28. PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions are also on the way. It is the 2022 Nintendo Switch game with two pieces of additional content. You connect eggs with matching pictures to clear them; as you move through the stages, illustrations come together and you collect birds. Hatsune Miku and other characters appear, and the puzzles are set to five songs.
