Rouge and Omega Join SONIC PICO PARK

Rouge joins the cast, and Omega arrives as a big-bodied character. The game combines the co-op puzzles of the PICO PARK series, which has passed 8.5 million copies, with elements of Sonic the Hedgehog, and supports local and online play. SONIC PICO PARK launches November 12, 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam.

Pokémon UNITE Ends Service in March 2027

Pokémon UNITE shuts down at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on March 22, 2027 (5 p.m. Pacific Time), The Pokémon Company has announced. Sales of Aeos gems and new sign-ups for UNITE Club Membership have already stopped. FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves Devs on Mai’s Heels and a 44-Camera Studio

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves launched October 22, and developers at SNK have talked about how it was made. The motion capture studio at its headquarters has 44 high-performance cameras. Mai Shiranui’s body model has her in high heels, so using it unchanged with her ninja outfit, a preorder bonus, leaves her feet floating. The fix, they said, was to adjust the animations so she covers the same distance whatever the heel height. Balance adjustments are scheduled around tournaments such as Evo. HEXADRIVE, which handled the port, made a steady 60 fps its top priority.

South Korea’s Library of Ruina Sets Guinness Record for Longest Campaign

Library of Ruina, a game from South Korea, has earned the Guinness World Records title for the “Longest videogame campaign/story.” Its main campaign runs about 113 hours, roughly 12 hours longer than the previous record holder, Persona 5 Royal. The figures come from HowLongToBeat user data as of June 2026. The game is a turn-based card battler in which the library’s Librarians fight “Guests” using dice and cards. It supports English.

Romancing SaGa 3 Remake Adds Two Formations New to the SaGa Series

New combat details for Romancing SaGa 3: Destinies United are out. Two new Formations described as firsts for the SaGa series join the lineup. One strengthens melee attacks from the front three and ranged attacks from the back two; the other raises everyone’s speed. Characters can carry two weapons. The game is a remake of the 1995 original by xeen Inc. for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The US Xbox Store lists the release date as February 16, 2027.
