In its second week on sale, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave sold 26,728 copies in Japan, bringing its total there to 153,859.

The tracking period ran from September 21 to September 27, 2026. The figures are Famitsu’s weekly estimated sales in Japan. The Nintendo Switch 2 game launched on September 17. This week it ranked No. 3.

The story sends you back through time as you guide four protagonists. In turn-based battles you choose your squad’s lineup and positions. Between fights, you train allies, recruit new ones, and explore dungeons.

Rhythm Heaven Groove (Nintendo Switch) took No. 2 with 27,309 copies. Since its July launch, its total in Japan has climbed to 1,049,922. It packs in 80-plus tiny games: press buttons on the beat to grab vegetables, bounce fruit off a flexed bicep, swing a hammer, and more. There is also a mode called Beatspell, where you cast spells to the rhythm and fight enemies. Up to four players can play together on one console.

Both are Nintendo games that have already launched outside Japan and can be played in English.

Derby Stallion 2 (Nintendo Switch 2) debuted at No. 1 with 29,336 copies. Also new to the top 10: SILENT HILL: Townfall for PlayStation 5 at No. 4 (13,596 copies) and the Nintendo Switch 2 version of DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition at No. 5 (10,844). EA SPORTS FC 27 has two versions in the top 10, with the PlayStation 5 version at No. 6 (9,873) and the Nintendo Switch 2 version at No. 9 (5,952).

At No. 7, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream sold 8,052 copies, and at No. 8, Splatoon Raiders sold 7,405. Their totals in Japan now stand at 1,618,104 and 671,202. The PlayStation 5 version of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, at No. 10, has reached 110,087 copies in total.

On the hardware side, Nintendo Switch 2 led with 32,198 units, bringing its total in Japan to 6,360,353. Next came the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition at 9,470 units.
