KINGDOM HEARTS Collection Debuts at No. 1 in Japan

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] debuted at No. 1 on Japan’s weekly sales chart. The numbers come from Famitsu’s weekly estimates for Japan, which combine boxed copies, download cards, and versions pre-installed on consoles. The Switch 2 version sold 23,411 copies in its launch week, and the PlayStation 5 version added 6,261 at No. 5, bringing combined sales across the two platforms to 29,672 copies.

The tracking period ran from October 5 to October 11, 2026. Three debuting games accounted for five entries in the top 10 that week.

The collection brings SQUARE ENIX’s KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind together in one package. It is out on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Microsoft Store), and the three games are also sold separately.

At No. 2 was Rhythm Heaven Groove (Nintendo Switch) with 14,527 copies. In its 15th week on sale, it climbed from No. 3 the previous week, and its total in Japan has reached 1,080,343 copies.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen also charted on two platforms. The Nintendo Switch 2 version came in at No. 4 with 7,314 copies and the PlayStation 5 version at No. 8 with 5,099, for 12,413 combined. It adds large-scale additional content to Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2, and the base game received Title Update 4.0 at the same time.

ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE (PlayStation 5), which debuted at No. 1 the week before, dropped to No. 3 in its second week with 13,801 copies. With 63,013 copies from its first week, its total in Japan now stands at 76,814.

At No. 6, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave (Nintendo Switch 2) has reached 172,534 copies in total.

EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 5 for Nintendo Switch 2 debuted at No. 7 with 5,237 copies.

On the hardware side, Nintendo Switch 2 led with 22,420 units, down from 26,200 the previous week. Its total in Japan has reached 6,408,973 units.
