SENSE SHARE has opened a Steam store page for Japanese Swordsmith, a simulation game about forging a katana. In processes such as sumikiri (charcoal-cutting), yakiire (quenching), and polishing, the temperature of the steel, the timing of the hammer blows, and the thickness of the applied clay all directly shape the beauty of the hamon. It’s coming to PC, with no release date set yet. It offers interface text, voice acting, and subtitles in both Japanese and English.
