Mega Man: Dual Override’s New Boss Is a Chef Robot
At gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 in Thailand, Capcom revealed a new boss for Mega Man: Dual Override: a wandering chef robot whose moves fuse cooking and kung fu. It wants the world to accept its cooking style, and that drive sends it on a rampage through a large restaurant. In a giant kitchen, you track the cookware flying at you and switch between attacking and evading. The game marks the series’ 40th anniversary, lets you play as Mega Man and Proto Man, and launches in spring 2027.

The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily Launches on Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 on December 3
Alliance Arts’ The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily launches on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 on December 3. The PC (Steam) version came out in July 2025. It’s a turn-based strategy game where you choose whether to capture or execute enemy commanders. Captured commanders join your side. If you execute enemy commanders, the story still moves on, but the ending changes. The Stream Airship works across the whole map: it can stall enemy advances, cut off supplies, or urge enemies to surrender. If either protagonist, Scarlet or Lily, falls in battle, you lose.

ACE COMBAT 8 Gets Its Delayed Ver. 1.01.002 Update
Bandai Namco Entertainment began rolling out Ver. 1.01.002 for ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE in stages on November 2. The update had been planned for October 23 before it was delayed. It fixes four bugs that could soft-lock the game, crash it, or fail a mission, including an issue in Mission 10 where you can’t continue after landing on an aircraft carrier. It also includes adjustments announced in October, including changes to the difficulty of the Ladon fight. The update covers PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

PRAGMATA Wins Game of the Year at the Thailand Game Awards
At the same show where the new Mega Man boss was revealed, the Thailand Game Awards 2026 results were announced. Capcom’s PRAGMATA won Game of the Year 2026 and Best Action Game. The awards covered 31 categories in all.

Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo Goes Fully Voiced in the November 12 Update
The Steam version of Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo, developed by DankHearts and published by WhisperGames, becomes fully voiced in a free update on November 12. Six teens who have lost their memories look for a way out of Noise Scramble City, a labyrinth city in another world. The story moves forward as you collect memories and solve mysteries. There are more than 40 kinds of puzzles, including cause-and-effect deduction, logic puzzles, courtroom battles, and fighting-game-style challenges.
