On August 27, 2026, Happinet revealed the lineup for its exhibit at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026. More than 13 titles will be playable, spread across booths in three locations at the venue.
The main booth is in Hall 6. Titles featured there include Beast of Reincarnation, developed by GAME FREAK, along with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, MELTY BLOOD: TWI-LUMINA, Tokyo Stories, Mononoke No Kuni, and BRIGANDINE ABYSS, among others. The company says the lineup will feature “13 titles or more,” with additional unannounced titles to be revealed later.
The second location is the indie game corner in Hall 9. Alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Stray, Artis Impact, and one unannounced title, Happinet will feature titles selected from its own Happinet Indie Collection. The third location is the Family Game Park.
Some of the playable demos come with booth-only activities. Mononoke No Kuni, a story set in a world where myths and yokai live on, lets visitors draw an omikuji fortune slip each time they meet certain conditions. The promotional item they receive varies depending on which character appears on their slip. Cosplayers dressed as characters from the game will also appear.
BRIGANDINE ABYSS is a fantasy strategy simulation set on a continent divided among rival factions. Besides the demo, there will be an activity that matches visitors with the faction that suits them.
Tokyo Stories, planned and developed by Drecom, is set in a Tokyo devoid of people. The booth will feature decorations and dioramas that let visitors experience the game’s world, along with panels featuring characters from the game.
MELTY BLOOD: TWI-LUMINA is a 2D fighting game based on the world of TYPE-MOON’s TSUKIHIME -A piece of blue glass moon-. It rebuilds the fighting system and adds new characters plus a story written by Kinoko Nasu. Visitors who try the demo will receive a promotional item.
Happinet’s role is more about bringing other companies’ titles to Japan than making its own. That’s why a single booth brings together everything from major overseas releases to Japanese indies.
