Delve Survivors blends a traditional grid-based roguelike with horde-survivor action that has players mowing down waves of enemies, all in a single game.
Dungeons are laid out on a grid, and play proceeds in turns. Under the permadeath system, death ends the run for good, so there is no way to recover your progress. Modern horde-survivor action is layered on top of that structure. The game plans to ship with 10 dungeons. There are three playable classes, over 500 items, and more than 40 skills. Players can choose from three game modes: Hardcore, Roguelite, and Casual.
The game is being made by iDiOSLAB. According to BitSummit’s official site, it’s a small indie studio built by two friends — one from Japan, one from the US — who have worked together in the games industry for a long time. It isn’t a solo project; it’s built by a two-person team. On Steam, the publisher field lists iDiOSLAB and NGJ together.
It’s planned for PC (Steam) and set for release in 2026. A demo is already available on Steam, so players don’t have to wait for launch to try it. It supports 11 languages across its interface, voice acting, and subtitles: English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, Korean, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
The game has also made appearances on the show floor. It was exhibited at BitSummit, an international indie game event held in Kyoto, where attendees could play 3 of the game’s 10 dungeons.
