A speedrunner has posted on X about a new glitch in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that shortens boss fights. According to the report, a bottle’s contents let you beat Ganondorf without the special arrow he normally requires.
New Ocarina of Time Glitch Uses a Bottle to Cut Boss Fights Short
According to an October 11 report, using a bottle’s contents just as a boss’s hitbox is about to vanish overwrites the damage value. In the Ganondorf fight, you hit him with one projectile the moment a magic ball connects, then immediately use a bottled bug, and the game registers it as a hit from the special arrow. Another boss reportedly goes down in one hit with a routine that uses a bottled fairy. The report says the glitch works on the Nintendo 64 version and on Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Classics.

PICO PARK Developer Asks Switch 2 Players Not to Buy the Original for Now
According to an October 13 announcement from developer TECOPARK, playing the original Nintendo Switch version of the co-op puzzler PICO PARK online on Nintendo Switch 2 leaves the game stuck on a white screen in the second stage of the first world. PICO PARK 2 doesn’t show the problem. As of October 14, the cause was still under investigation, and TECOPARK was asking players to hold off on buying the original on Switch 2 until it is resolved. It was also asking Nintendo about temporarily suspending distribution on the Nintendo eShop.
