Death Game Simulator, which puts you in control of the death game instead of surviving one, has been announced.

Death Game Simulator Announced: Be the Host, Not a Participant — Coming to Steam in September

Solo developer TamagoEggs announced on September 7, 2026, that the party game Death Game Simulator will launch on Steam in September 2026. Players take on the role of a GM (Game Master) whose identity is hidden behind a mask and voice changer, screening participants through minigames like crossing narrow platforms or passing around a bomb. It’s an asymmetric match between the host and the participants, with both online competitive and cooperative play supported. Participants fight back using Mayhem Cards, which grant effects such as invincibility or turning the GM’s shots into blanks, and can even be used to defeat the GM.
